Safeguarding

Here at New Horizons we have a firm belief in Character, Hope and Achievement in all that we do.  We ensure that consistent and effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support students and staff at school.

If a student or parent has a concern the first point of contact at school is the student’s Pastoral Manager unless it is a safeguarding issue or a concern that a student is being harmed. If anyone is worried that a student is being harmed or there are safeguarding issues, a designated member of staff should be contacted.

The designated members of staff are as follows;

Samantha Rigby-White (Designated Safeguarding Lead)

Andrew Bennett (Assistant Designated Safeguarding Lead, The Willows & Redwood)

Jennifer Appleton (Assistant Designated Safeguarding Lead, The Cedar Centre)
